Post by Thomas HerzigI wanted to reset my sansa e200. thats why i
formate it. but it doesn't function completely. there was an
error. and now when i want to start the sansa, there is an
"Rockbox boot loader
Version: 5.0
Sandisc Sansa e200
No partition found"
The original firmwar can't be started and it
doesn't help to push the menu-button 15 seconds.
now there is another problem. i started the recovery mode an
did BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom
SKU_E-PP5022.mi4
on the sansa. now i can start it, but there is no music on
it, there is an error "refresh database fail" and my pc dont
show it. it doesnt matter in which usb-mode it is.
I got a Sansa e280 off of eBay the other day, and for several reasons, I
wanted to start it off in it's prestine state, so I downloaded a utility off
of the web called Sansa Updater. This reformated the Sansa e280 and restores
the original Sansa file system. Once I got it in it's prestine, straight
from Sansa state, I installed Rockbox. You may want to try this. It may
resolve your problems.
I found this utility off of the web without too much trouble. Unfortunately,
I don't have the URL anymore and the Sansa Updater utility itself doesn't
have a link to the web, but like I said, I found it without too much
trouble.
